Ya Mon Jamaican Cuisine

Since 2006

20 years of Jamaican cooking

Ya Mon has been cooking since 2006, the last 9 years of it in Alpharetta.

The first Ya Mon opened in Illinois in 2006. The Alpharetta kitchen followed in 2017, in Windward Plaza, where it has been ever since.

The menu is Jamaican: jerk chicken, curry goat, oxtail, brown stew, escovitch snapper, rice and peas, plantains. Dinners come with two sides of your choice, and there is a lunch special Tuesday through Friday.

If you have not eaten Jamaican food before, the jerk chicken with rice and peas is the place to start. If you have, you already know whether you want the oxtail or the curry goat.
